Who We Are

We, at our parent company Ag Grow Consulting Ltd., saw a need for a simple, streamlined crop scouting app - one that was based on Western Canadian agriculture and that saved us time in the field. That's why AgScouter was created and now it is helping all our users enjoy effortless field management.

Kara Annand
Founder

Kara grew up on a family farm near Moose Jaw and moved to the Nipawin area in 2002. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Crop Science and a minor in Agri-business. As a Professional Agrologist, Kara has assisted farmers in cropping decisions in Saskatchewan for the last fourteen years. Kara strives to make sure that her customers are informed on current field conditions by staying in constant contact. Using both her extensive network of industry contacts and her experience with growers, Kara is equipped to provide advice on a broad range of agronomic topics.

Kara uses AgScouter in the field every day so that she can quickly record all of her findings and recommendations, as well as staying connected to her scout team and her farmers.

Jill has worked closely with agronomists for the past 15 years. Her introduction to this line of work was when she worked as an administrator for Cavalier Agrow in Meota, SK. In 2014, she and her family relocated back to her husbands' mixed family farm in Carrot River and she started working for Ag Grow Consulting. When Ag Grow Consulting went looking for a better reporting program for their team of agronomists, Jill joined the team that took the AgScouter project from original concept to what it has become today - an effortless field management app! She loves working on updating the app and supporting new and existing AgScouter customers!

AgScouter customers enjoy a direct line of communication to Jill for all of their questions or needs. No impersonal call centers, just personal attention.
